The Shanghai Ju Jutsu Club offers mixed martial arts based on the Ju Jutsu system. With the training located in Puxi (near Nanjing Road), the club provides an open setting for participants to learn and develop their skills.

A mixed martial art in its true sense, Ju Jutsu combines various styles including Judo and BJJ, Karate and Aikido, as well as Arnis, WT, and Kickboxing. Trained widely throughout Europe, Ju Jutsu allows practitioners to use the most effective counter to an attack. It uses the strength of the attacker against him, to counter his move.

By learning a combination of aspects including, but not limited to kicking and boxing, and overthrowing an aggressor, Ju Jutsuka become good all-round fighters.

This open and synthesizing approach makes it a novelty in China’s martial arts landscape.
